Personality & Traits
| Strengths & Weaknesses | Olisette tends to be regarded as somewhat of a loose cannon, she is chaotic by nature with a short temper and sharp tongue. Though while she can be somewhat of a tempest she is not without a sense of humor or a wit that more often than not get's her into trouble. She lacks a clear daily routine and shuns any kind of regimented training but despite this she manages to maintain relative health and fitness. Generally through time spent on adventures on the holo-deck. Olisette's success in Starfleet and more specifically the highly demanding field of medicine has been somewhat of a mystery to those who know her well. She wasn't the most promising graduate at the academy and struggled initially to find placement aboard a Starship, indeed it was her brother Olan who managed to get her aboard due to their unique empathic disability. In the intervening years she has through natural talent and sheer determination managed to become an outstanding doctor. The biggest challenge in Olisette's life has been “Separation Affective disorder”. In 2375 is was discovered that prolonged separation from her younger twin brother affected them both physically and emotionally. In Olisette this manifests a complete withdrawal from the outside world to the point of a near catatonic state. |

| Ambitions | Olisette has always felt intense pressure from her family to return home and take up her mantle as the next matriarch of the Ziva family, a role that she has looked forward to since childhood. She had never wanted a career in Starfleet but her disability and her brothers inability to go home for any length of time forced her into it. Initially she hated life in the fleet but over the years, whether she knows it or not, she has slowly warmed up to the service and in some ways come to appreciate it. The thought of a life long Starfleet career no longer bothers her like it used to and having become the head of a medical department she has found renewed interest in her work. Olisette would still like to one day return home to fill her role in the family and perhaps start her own private medical practice there but if that never becomes a reality she feels that she could live with Starfleet. |
