| Description | Located at the dorsal stern of the primary hull, the main shuttlebay aboard Galaxy-class starships takes up a significant portion of Decks 3 thru 4. The shuttlebay extends throughout a considerable portion of each deck to accommodate shuttles, runabouts, and transports. It is managed by a team of flight control officers, engineers, technicians, and operations personnel that are based in the Flight Operations office under the supervision of the Chief Flight Control Officer. |
